Our Story
mPower talks began as a vision to transform India from the grassroots – its youth with tremendous potential that is waiting to be tapped into and its vast community of existing entrepreneurs – with support from like-minded individuals and guidance from those who have reached the pinnacle of the entrepreneurship journey.
One of the successful enterprises of the co-founder and serial entrepreneur Kishore Rachiah is Kreatement Events. A leading South Indian event specialist company built from scratch, it presents Mysoreans with the golden opportunity to meet luminary personalities from across the country at home. In the decade since its inception, Kreatement has organized talks by a host of motivational speakers including Gaur Gopal Das, Vivek Bindra and Swami Sukhabhodananda in Mysuru.
A Youtube video was all it took for Kreatement and subsequently, mPower Talk to begin. Kishore, who had until then surfed through YouTube only for music and sports, stumbled upon a video titled “O Manase Relax Please”. A summary of Swami Sukhabhodananda’s eponymous book delivered by the mystic motivational author himself, the video inspired Kishore to embark on a mission of enabling everyone young – by age or at heart – to grow and shine. He began organizing pro bono workshops for government school students and trained thousands of corporate employees in much-needed soft skills. Garnering extensive resources and networks, he established Kreatement.
The pandemic brought unprecedented havoc into the lives of entrepreneurs, including Kishore. This time, it was a dream that renewed Kishore’s sense of purpose and progress – the dream of a platform that motivates, nurtures and supports aspiring, young and established entrepreneurs. In no time, he hoisted the proud banner of mPower Talk with a series of interviews of BNI members. Voicing the early struggles of entrepreneurs, the interviews encouraged numerous business owners to successfully overcome the distress and existential uncertainty brought by the pandemic.
Joining hands with Yathish KS, a premier interior designer, specialized event organizer and friend, Kishore created mPower Talks with the concerted effort of six months. Yathish and Kishore have already publicized several edifying conversations with successful business leaders. Together, they strive to discover and disseminate unique stories that transform.
